Image Resize

Upscale images up to 4x with AI models or downscale for thumbnails and web use — single or in bulk.

How It Works

The Image Resize tool offers two operations:

  • Upscale — Uses AI-powered super-resolution models via fal.ai to enlarge images while adding detail. Choose from 5 models ranging from fast (Aura SR) to creative (Clarity Upscaler).
  • Downscale — Server-side resize using sharp. Enter target dimensions or pick a preset (512px, 256px, 128px, 64px). Aspect ratio lock is available.

Upscaling an Image

1

Open the Resize tab

Navigate to your project and click Resize in the sidebar under Tools.
2

Choose Upscale

Make sure the Upscale toggle is selected (it is by default).
3

Pick a model

Select an upscale model from the card grid. Each card shows the scale factor, speed, and credit cost. For prompt-guided models, you can optionally enter an enhancement prompt.
4

Load your image

Drag and drop an image, paste a URL, or pick one from your project library.
5

Process and compare

Click the process button. Once complete, use the side-by-side or slider view to compare the original and upscaled versions. Download when satisfied.

Upscale Models

ModelScaleCreditsSpeedBest for
Aura SR4x20FastQuick, reliable enlargements
Real-ESRGAN4x20FastAll-round classic upscaling

Clarity Upscaler2x40MediumFine detail preservation with prompts

The Creative Upscaler and Clarity Upscaler accept an optional enhancement prompt. Use it to guide the AI — for example, "sharp product photo, vibrant colors" — for better results on specific content types.

Downscaling

Switch to Downscale mode to shrink images. Enter a target width and height, or click a preset button. The aspect ratio lock keeps proportions consistent.

Downscaling runs server-side (no AI model involved), so it's fast and costs only 5 credits per image.

Bulk Mode

Switch to Bulk mode to resize multiple images at once. Select images from your project library, choose shared settings (model or dimensions), and process them all. A progress bar tracks completion, and you can download results individually or all at once.

Cost

Upscaling costs 20–40 credits per image depending on the model. Downscaling costs 5 credits per image. See Credits & Pricing for the full breakdown.
